New Hires: The Latest Crop of Celebrity Journalists

If you watch TV or read glossy magazines and gawk at the storied lives of celebrities, you may pause and do a double take when you see what they’re doing now. Increasingly, a spate of actresses, supermodels, and offspring of political families have jumped over to the other side, entering or dabbling in the world of print and TV journalism. Chelsea Clinton

NBC News has appointed Chelsea Clinton, the only child of Bill and Hillary Clinton, as a special correspondent and reporter for the new magazine program, Rock Center with Brian Williams. With two master's degrees already under her belt, Ms. Clinton is currently completing a doctoral program at the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service at New York University.
