Most impressive of the celebrity horse riders is crooner Lyle Lovett who not only raises Quarter Horses but he can ride a mean reining pattern.

"I really enjoy the relationship with the animal. It's humbling how much they teach us," he said. "From starting a yearling or two-year-old that's been in the pasture its whole life to being able to saddle it and start to ride it ... the better you are to them, the better they do for you.
